The first words that Stacey Anderson, 2026 recipient of the Dream Keeper Award, spoke after receiving the honor named after civil rights activist Martin Luther King Jr. were the opening lyrics of Andraé Crouch’s 1972 song “My Tribute”.
“How can I say thanks / For the things You have done for me? / Things so undeserved
/ Yet You gave to prove Your love for me; /The voices of a million angels /Could not express my gratitude /All that I am and ever hope to be / I owe it all to Thee,” Anderson said.
