Bigstuff (what is my life) and Cocky, have been known as enemies for as long as everyone has known. They competed with each other as they grew up in various sports and academic events. Between these they have gotten to know each other well, even though they didn’t want to. At their last football match against each other, they shook hands both knowing that that was probably the last time they would see each other. You see Bigstuff was staying in SC and going to SCU while Cocky was going to UCLA.
Their summers passed and went and then school was starting. Bigstuff had gotten onto the football team and was joining all the clubs that held his interest. Welcome week was a lot of stress filled fun, and Bigstuff was starting to find his people. The second week is when football began. Bigstuff was excited and stressed about not proving himself enough to his new teammates.
Walking into the locker rooms though he was stunned by who he saw, Cocky. Bigstuff was shocked by the presence of his grade and high school rival. He knew that he got accepted to UCLA and was signed on there, so why was he here? Bigstuff decided he would ignore Cocky and not let this highschool rivalry ruin this new chapter of his life.
During practice they did team members meet and greet and cocky pretended to not know who Bigstuff is. This for some reason angered Bigstuff, but he decided to do the same.
The next few weeks went on like this. It started to anger Bigstuff, and he started to let it affect him more and more. His friend Tiger, was getting sick of him complaining about it, making him go talk to Cocky while they were at a party.
While trying to get the courage to do it, Bigstuff drank some spicy kool aid and was a little stumbly when he finally found Cocky. They walked up to Cocky and grabbed his arm and turned him around aggressively.
“Why do you act like I don’t exist? – Bigstuff
“You were doing the same damn thing” – Cocky
“Well I didn’t want you to ruin my university years like you did all of high school!” – Big stuff
Cocky just stared at him and turned away shaking his head.
“What nothing to say now?! You always had shit to say! Always talking at me never too me -” – Bigstuff
“- I just wanted you to look at me! Pay attention to me! But we couldn’t ever do that, not with who we were and where we were! So yes I did talk to you looking for any attention! I could never… I don’t know” – Cocky finished with putting his head in his hands.
Bigstuff stood there staring at Cocky in disbelief about this. They never thought Cock could feel the same.
Bigstuff looked over at Cocky who was just standing there shaking their head, muttering something.
Without any thought Bigstuff strode over and shoved Cocky into the wall smashing their beaks together
